The AM09 uses Dyson's Air Multiplier™ technology to push a smooth, continuous stream of air with no visible blades and none of the buffeting you get from a standard fan. Ceramic heating plates bring warmth up quickly in winter, while the same body switches to high-velocity cooling airflow for summer — one machine covers both jobs year-round.

Jet Focus control switches between Focused mode for direct, personal airflow and Diffused mode for spreading heat or cooling evenly across a whole room, and smooth oscillation carries that airflow further without leaving cold or hot spots behind. A magnetized curved remote stores directly on the machine, so it's always within reach instead of getting lost.

A programmable sleep timer runs anywhere from 15 minutes to 9 hours, letting the machine shut itself off automatically overnight or after you've left the room.
