Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is the latest installment of the family-friendly horror series, casting players as Gregory, a young boy trapped overnight inside a sprawling entertainment complex. Unlike earlier entries' static camera gameplay, Security Breach lets players freely explore the complex on foot.

Animatronic pursuers roam the complex's various themed zones, forcing Gregory to hide, sneak, and use environmental tools to avoid capture while uncovering the facility's unsettling secrets. A newly befriended animatronic ally offers occasional support, adding a layer of collaboration to the tension-filled survival gameplay.

Multiple zones each bring distinct hazards and animatronic threats, giving the free-roam structure room to escalate as Gregory pushes deeper into the complex overnight.
