The Huawei eKitStor Xtreme 300S 1.92TB is an enterprise SAS 3.0 SSD in the 2.5-inch (U.2) form factor, built on 3D TLC NAND. In dual-port mode it reaches 2,100 MB/s sequential reads, 1,800 MB/s writes and up to 400,000 random 4K read IOPS with 70,000 write IOPS. That is plenty of headroom for databases, virtualisation clusters and mixed read/write workloads.

The drive is rated for 1 drive write per day over five years (3.504 PB written) with a 2.5 million hour MTBF. Four-layer data protection (DIF, internal CRC, ECC and dynamic RAID) guards data integrity, and Huawei DiskBooster tracks health and predicts end of life so drives can be replaced before they cause trouble.
