The Huawei SFP-10G-CU3M is a 3-metre high-speed direct attach copper (DAC) cable with an SFP+ connector permanently fitted at each end. It is the easiest way to create 10 Gbit/s connections between switches, servers, storage and firewalls within the same rack or neighbouring racks, without buying separate optical modules and fibre patch cords.

Because it is a passive cable, it needs no extra power and adds virtually no latency, while offering a lower cost per link than optical transceivers. Simply plug each end into an SFP+ port, such as the 10GE uplinks on Huawei eKit and CloudEngine switches, for an instant high-speed connection.

Designed for indoor use, the cable has a 25 mm bend radius, making it easy to route neatly in racks and cable managers.
