HDMI 1.4 goes in from a console, mirrorless camera, second PC or phone adapter, and USB-C 3.2 Gen1 carries the signal out to your machine as a standard UVC video device. There is no driver package to install and nothing to configure: the computer simply sees another webcam.

It captures 4K at 30Hz, or 1080p at 60Hz when you would rather have the frame rate than the resolution — the right trade for fast-moving gameplay. Latency is low enough to monitor live in the preview window without the audible lag that makes commentary awkward to record.
