The UniFi Switch 48 PoE (500W) is a 1U rackmount managed switch built for offices, hotels, schools and surveillance systems that need a lot of powered ports in one place. All 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports can supply PoE, supporting both IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ and 24V passive PoE, so it works with modern access points and cameras as well as older passive-powered equipment.

A 500W total PoE budget, with up to 34.2W available per PoE+ port, keeps dozens of devices running from a single switch. For uplinks, two 10G SFP+ ports connect to your core switch or gateway at high speed, and two additional 1G SFP ports give extra fibre options. With 140 Gbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 104.16 Mpps, it handles heavy traffic without bottlenecks.

The switch is adopted and managed through the UniFi Network application, where you can set VLANs, monitor every port and control PoE per device. Port LEDs show PoE, speed, link and activity at a glance, and the internal power supply keeps the rack tidy.
