The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro pairs 20,000Pa of suction with an AI triple-camera system, RGB plus dual infrared plus an IR 3D dot projector, that recognizes over 200 objects and 47 types of dirt, automatically switching between vacuum and mop modes based on what it sees. A retractable dToF radar drops the robot's clearance to just 9.5cm, letting it slide under low furniture that stops most other robot vacuums, while 360° laser mapping builds precise multi-floor maps and resumes cleaning exactly where it left off after a recharge.

Edges and corners get real attention here: the extendable side brush and mop pad reach all the way to walls and into corners for a 0mm gap, and ultrasonic carpet detection automatically lifts the mop 15mm to avoid soaking rugs while boosting suction for deeper carpet cleaning. An anti-tangle dual-blade brush picks up 99% of hair without the manual untangling other robots require.

The Omni Station dock handles the rest of the work: 80°C hot-water mop washing, hot-air drying, and intelligent rewashing keep the mop pads genuinely clean between runs, and a 4L water tank supports up to 400 m² of mopping coverage per fill. A 5MP onboard camera doubles as a home-monitoring feed you can check remotely through the Xiaomi Home app, which also connects to Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.
