The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40C makes automated cleaning accessible without cutting the essentials. Its 5,000Pa fan handles large particles and hair across tiles, wood and low-pile carpet, and four power modes (Silent, Standard, Strong and Turbo) let you choose between quiet daily upkeep and a stronger pass when it is needed.

Unlike bump-and-turn budget robots, the S40C uses LDS laser navigation with 360° detection to learn your layout quickly and build an accurate map. It then cleans in tidy, planned rows with higher positioning accuracy, remembers the map between runs, and supports zoned cleaning, selected-area cleaning, virtual walls and restricted zones from the app. Multiple sensors keep it from getting stuck or falling, and it climbs thresholds up to 20mm.

A 260mL water tank with three adjustable output levels lets the S40C mop while it vacuums, and a generous 520mL dustbin cuts down on emptying. The Xiaomi Home app provides remote start, scheduling, real-time monitoring and mode selection, and the robot also answers to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands.
